Deactivate The Facebook
On Web
To Delete the Facebook account permanently. Just Go to here - Delete Facebook Permanently
Facebook will ask you rest. You will not be able to recover your Facebook account in future.
But if you want to delete your Facebook account temporarily and wants to have a break. Then follow the step below. First Login to Facebook.
Go To Settings
Then Go To the Security
In the Security tab, at the bottom, select Deactivate Your Account
Select This is Temporary, I'll be back
Now Opt out from receiving mails if you want or leave it blank. If you maintain any kind of app on Facebook, then Facebook will ask you to delete them as well.
Just Confirm and you have deleted your Facebook account, you can always recover it later.
On Android App
If you want to delete your Facebook account from the Facebook Android app. Follow the steps below.
Just Go to the Facebook app on your Android smartphone.
Tap on the three horizontal line icon on the right side
Scroll down and find Account Setting below
Go to the General
Tap on the Deactivate option
Fill the Facebook Password and follow rest.
You have temporarily deleted your account, no one will be able to find you on Facebook now.
